The purpose of the Texas State Convention is to celebrate recovery throughout the State of Texas and in Narcotics Anonymous as a whole.  The bodies of the convention will provide information about Narcotics Anonymous and recovery, practice unity and provide service for the primary purpose of Narcotics Anonymous "to stay clean and carry the message of recovery".  The planning committees of the convention are a diverse body of men and women from all walks of life which represent the diverse cultures of the State of Texas and Narcotics Anonymous as a whole.  Our hope is that any addict who attends the convention may overcome the isolation and loneliness from the disease of addiction and have the opportunity to witness the work of a High Power.
